Quote Moment: A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab

Hello, my friends! I really do want to get back into blogging, but things have just been tough lately. I’m working myself in slowly with one of my favorite little posts, sharing some of my favorite quotes from beloved books! Today I’ve got a couple quotes from A Conjuring of Light, the third book in the Shades of Magic series by Victoria Schwab. This trilogy is amazing and I highly recommend it! It’s filled with badass characters, magic, action, and diversity (although not as much as I’d like to see in all books one day). It’s a series you start and can’t stop until you’ve turned the last page. I’m hoping to post a review for this trilogy sometime soon!

“Love and loss,” he said, “are like a ship and the sea. They rise together. The more we love, the more we have to lose. But the only way to avoid loss is to avoid love. And what a sad world that would be.”

“Lila smiled at that, one of those smiles that made Kell profoundly nervous. The kind of smile usually followed by a weapon.”

“Don’t get yourself killed.”

“I’ll do my best,” said Kell, and then he was going.

“And come back,” added Rhy.

Kell paused. “Don’t worry,” he said. “I will. Once I’ve seen it.”

“Seen what?” asked Rhy.

Kell smiled. “Everything.”

Doesn’t that just ignite your wanderlust? I hope you find some lovely, even if small, adventures today.

Thanks for reading 💕

Cheers!
